Chess is perhaps one of the most beloved games of all time. Players must use their wits and common sense to move across the board, guessing other players moves, and acting accordingly. Chess has been around since the sixth century but continues to evolve and bring itself into the modern age. One of the ways that chess reinvents itself is through the app Chess Free. Chess Free is a PC and mobile game that allows players to hone their chess skills while playing remotely without so much as a board. Never mind keeping track of all of the pieces that go into playing chess, Chess Free is a neatly packaged game that takes little to no space up on a computer and gets users playing within seconds.

Chess Free is just like the original game. Players can move across the board as either black or white. They can use their timer in the corner of the board as they move along, just like in a competition. Players can go up against different levels of AI, from beginner to master. As they progress through the levels, players will grow in the necessary skills to not just beat the AI but ultimately to learn and master chess.

Chess Free is offered for Windows 10 and Android operating systems. It is offered in English, but requires very little knowledge of the language to play and use the game. As the name states, Chess Free is completely free to download and to play on both Windows and Android devices.

Overall, Chess Free is a great way to interact and play a beloved and timeless game. It feels modern, has good graphics, and takes up little to no space on a computer or mobile device. While the game may not be as decked out as some of the other chess apps, Chess Free feels like a no nonsense approach to the game. It is worth having on any Windows 10 or Android device.
